The API is designed for developers who want to embed crypto exchange functionality without building exchange infrastructure. Common integrations include price tickers, exchange widgets, automated portfolio rebalancing, and payment acceptance tools.
💱 Exchange widget integration
Embed a custom-branded exchange interface into any website or app. Use /rate to get live quotes and /exchange to create orders. Your users never leave your platform, and you earn affiliate commission on every completed exchange.
📊 Live price feeds
The /prices endpoint returns prices for all 200+ supported coins every 60 seconds, aggregated from 30+ exchange sources. Use it to power price tickers, portfolio trackers, market overview dashboards, or any display that needs current crypto prices.
🔄 Automated rebalancing
Build automated portfolio management tools that swap between assets based on allocation targets. The API handles the exchange execution; your logic handles the when and how much. No KYC for amounts under $10,000/day means no identity bottleneck in your automation.
💳 Crypto payment acceptance
Accept any of 200+ cryptocurrencies as payment and auto-convert to USDT or BTC. The /exchange endpoint creates the receiving address; webhook notifications confirm when payment completes. Useful for e-commerce and subscription billing.
📱 Mobile app integration
Add exchange functionality to iOS or Android apps with a few API calls. No need to manage liquidity, custody, or compliance infrastructure — we handle all of it. Your app focuses on UX; we handle the exchange engine.
🤖 Trading bots
Use the live rate endpoint as a data source for arbitrage detection between CryptoSwapPro rates and other exchanges. The rate API includes mid-market prices and estimated execution rates useful for strategy backtesting.
What languages and frameworks does the API support?
The API is language-agnostic — it is a standard JSON REST API accessible via HTTP. Any language with an HTTP client works: Python (requests, httpx), JavaScript (fetch, axios), PHP (cURL, Guzzle), Go, Ruby, Java, C#, and others. No proprietary SDK is required, though we provide example code in Python and JavaScript above.
How are prices aggregated across 30+ exchanges?
Prices are fetched from exchange order books every 30–60 seconds and weighted by 24-hour volume. This volume-weighted average is more accurate than any single exchange price because it reflects where most actual trading is happening. Outliers more than 2 standard deviations from the mean are excluded to filter manipulation.
What is the rate limit?
Free tier: 100 requests/day. Starter: 10,000 requests/day (approximately 7 per minute sustained). Pro: 100,000 requests/day. All tiers apply a 100 requests/minute burst limit to prevent accidental spamming.
Are webhooks available?
Yes on Starter and Pro plans. Configure a webhook URL in your dashboard and we will send POST notifications when an exchange changes status (waiting → confirming → completed or failed). Payload is JSON with the full order object.
