Most crypto exchanges update their platforms silently. Rates change, fees adjust, new coins appear — users find out by noticing. We publish every significant change here for two reasons: accountability and transparency.
Accountability means that if we raise a fee or change a limit, you can see exactly when it happened and what changed. We don't bury changes in updated terms of service — we list them here with the version number and date.
Transparency is also a practical security signal. Platforms that go dark between major announcements and then suddenly have a significant incident often had warning signs visible to careful observers — unusual trading patterns, support queues growing, features degrading. A public changelog is evidence that active engineering work is ongoing and the platform is functioning normally.
Version 1.0 of CryptoSwapPro (2019) supported exactly three coins: Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin. The exchange was manual — our team processed every order by hand, which meant a 2–4 hour turnaround. We charged 0.5% because that was what the market expected.
Version 2.0 (2020–2021) introduced the first automated routing — small orders were sent directly through ChangeNOW's API, cutting turnaround to under 5 minutes. We expanded to 50 coins and added BSC, Solana, and Polygon support during the DeFi and NFT bull runs.
Version 3.0 (2022–2023) rebuilt the rate aggregation engine from scratch. Instead of checking 3–4 exchanges, we began polling 30+ sources every 60 seconds. This reduced spread on major pairs by an average of 0.08% — small per transaction, significant at scale. The fee dropped from 0.5% to 0.1%.
Version 4.0 (2024–present) is the current platform: full multilingual support, new UI, the Chainalysis AML integration, and all orders processed automatically up to $500,000. The changelog above starts here.
